• Zhiwei Zhao

  Chief Executive Officer

  Mr. Zhiwei Zhao has been the CEO of China Finance Online since mid-2005. Prior to that Mr. Zhao was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abitcool Inc, a broadband internet service provider that operated the largest private Internet Data Center in China. From 1998 to 2005, he served as the General Manager of Huatong International Development Limited in Hong Kong. Mr. Zhao earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

• Jun Wang

  Chief Financial Officer

  Mr. Jeff Wang joined China Finance Online in mid-2006 and became the company's Chief Financial Officer in August 2006. Mr. Wang was a Senior Manager in the Tax and Business Advisory Services at Deloitte and worked in its Beijing, London and New York offices before joining China Finance Online. Prior to that, Mr. Wang had years of experience in finance, accounting, and business. Mr. Wang obtained his Master of Business Administration from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, his Master of Economics in accounting from Beijing Technology and Business University and his B.A. degree from Shandong University. Mr. Wang is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a Certified Management Accountant of the Institute of Management Accountants.

• Caogang Li

  Chief Operation Officer

  Dr. Caogang Li joined China Finance Online in August 2005 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in March 2008. Before joining China Finance Online, Mr. Li was the corporate vice president of China Asset Management Co., Ltd., the largest mutual fund management firm in China in terms of asset under management. Prior to that, Mr. Li was in charge of the brokerage business of China Securities Ltd., which, now merged with CITIC Securities, was one of the leading securities firms in China.

• Alex Xu

  Chief Strategy Officer

  Mr. Alex Xu was appointed as Chief Strategy Officer in May 2008. Mr. Xu brings over 15 years of experience in finance, technology and management, including 6 years in investment research and capital market, covering technology, consumer/service, and energy sectors. Most recently, he served as a Senior Vice President at Brean Murray, Carret & Co., a boutique investment bank in New York, responsible for research coverage of US listed Chinese companies. Prior to that, Mr. Xu worked in research departments at Bank of America Securities LLC and UBS AG in New York. Mr. Xu earned his MBA degree with distinction from Cornell University, and his BA degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Mr. Xu is a CFA charter holder.
