Hugo Shong
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Hugo Shong has served as a director since May 2004 and became the Chairman of the Board in June, 2006. Mr. Shong is a senior vice president of International Data Group, Inc., or IDG, the president of IDG Asia, and the vice-chairman & a partner of IDG Technology Venture Investment, Inc., or IDGVC. Mr. Shong is the head of IDG's Asia operations, including information technology, publishing, market research, tradeshows, and VC investment. Mr. Shong graduated from Hunan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, followed by a Master of Science degree from the Boston University's College of Communications. -
Zhiwei Zhao
Director
Zhiwei Zhao has been the CEO of China Finance Online since mid-2005. Prior to that Mr. Zhao was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abitcool Inc, a broadband internet service provider that operated the largest private Internet Data Center in China. From 1998 to 2005, he served as the General Manager of Huatong International Development Limited in Hong Kong. Mr. Zhao earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. -
Lee Kheng Nam
Director
Lee Kheng Nam has served as a director since May 2004. Mr. Lee was the president of Vertex Management Pte Ltd from March 1995 to February 2004. He was also a director of Vertex Venture Holdings Ltd. Mr. Lee is a director of Creative Technology Ltd and United Test Assembly and Centre Ltd, and has served as a director of several other public corporations engaged in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, with first class honors, from Queen's University, Canada and a Master of Science degree in operations research and systems analysis from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. -
Ling Wang
Director
Ling Wang has served as a director since May 2004. Mr. Wang is the chairman and chief executive officer of GCTech Company Limited, a company he founded in 1994. Since 2003, he has been a director at Tiantian Online Co., Ltd. Mr. Wang graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China, and also has a Master of Science degree in automation control from the Beijing Institute of Information Control. -
Fansheng Guo
Director
Fansheng Guo has served as a director since May 2004. Mr. Guo is the chairman, chief executive officer and president of Beijing HC International, Inc., a Hong Kong listed company he founded in 1990. Mr. Guo obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Economics from Renmin University of China.
